Smart homes reduce the amount of energy consumed in your daily life, delivering financial savings from day one.
Innovative insulation technology is utilized to ensure comfort all year long, while bringing down the cost of heating and cooling your home. The heating ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system includes a sealed duct system, which prevents wasteful air leaks into areas that don’t require temperature control.
Energy smart appliances, like Energy Star rated kitchen appliances, provide further efficiencies. Spectrally selective glass also reflects external and internal heat to stabilize and reduce energy loss from windows. Low E glass windows also have the added benefit of protecting your fabrics and upholstery from sun damage. You may choose strategically positioned solar panels to harness the sun’s power, generating a sustainable energy source for you and your family. To reduce air-conditioning loads in hot weather, attics also include radiant barriers.

Every Brighton Parks home in the gated community is designed to provide a healthier living environment for you to enjoy. A reverse osmosis treatment system ensures a constant flow of clean, refreshing water, eliminating 99% of the impurities found in a regular tap supply. Air quality is improved by an optional central vacuum system, drawing dust and other airborne particles away from your living space to an external collection receptacle.
Another feature is the use of low volatile organic compound (VOC) paint throughout your home, consisting of non-toxic chemicals and producing little, if any odor. Beyond each Brighton Parks home, the shade canopy and narrowed, quieter streets throughout the community encourage walking and reduce vehicle trips.

The materials used to build your Brighton Parks home have been selected for their environmentally sensitive qualities:
• All flooring is made from sustainable and recycled materials
• All wood originates from certified sustainable sources which protect the long term future of our forests
• Cellulose attic insulation utilizes specially treated recycled newspaper to prevent unnecessary heat loss.
Environmental sensitivity includes landscaping with irrigation control. A drip irrigation system for shrubs and ground cover as well as a multi-station irrigation controller extend Brighton Parks’ water conservation throughout the landscaping. In addition, low flow plumbing fixtures and toilets are standard in all Brighton Parks homes.
A Smart home is a healthier home, for you and the environment.
